On February 17, 2022, Paytech was honored to receive the PCI DSSC level III certificate, which is a certificate that commits the highest level of security to Paytech's customer payment card information and partner data.

The certificate is issued by CMC Cyber Security Company of CMC Technology Group - the unit that consults, evaluates and issues international card data security certificates. CMC Cyber Security is also the first enterprise to have a license to trade in cyberinformation security products and services in Vietnam. The achievement of international card data security certification is an important factor in affirming Paytech's commitment to ensuring information security for customers, partners and stakeholders.

PCI DSS stands for Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard is a mandatory information security standard for businesses that store, transmit and process payment cards managed by 05 international payment organizations such as Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover and JCB. PCI DSS is a standard authorized by the above-mentioned international payment organizations for the Payment Card Industry Security Standard Council (PCI SSC).

This standard was developed to increase control over cardholder data and limit fraud and theft of payment card data. The certificate will be valid for one year, and businesses must undergo periodic reassessment. Enterprises handling a large number of transactions will choose to hire an external Quality Security Assessor (QSA) to conduct due diligence and publish a Report on Compliance (RoC) while the Businesses dealing with a smaller number of transactions will have to complete a Self-Assessment Questionaire (SAQ).

Also at the certification ceremony, Mr. Ha The Phuong - Project Manager cum PCI QSA - CMC Cyber Security Company congratulated Paytech on receiving the certificate of international card security with many challenges. Mr. Phuong said: “With professionalism and careful preparation, this is the project with the fastest deployment speed ever of CMC Cyber Security. Achieving PCI certification in the first year is a good start for Paytech to grow stronger in the coming time. I wish the cooperation relationship between Paytech and CMC Cyber Security to be stronger and more comprehensive.”
